TICKETING POLICIES
All ticket purchases made through www.fares24.com (the “Website”) or through FARES24 agents are subject to the following Ticketing Policies, in addition to the Terms and Conditions outlined herein:
- Contractual Relationship:
When you purchase a ticket through FARES24, you enter into a direct contractual relationship with the airline, service provider, or travel supplier offering that service. FARES24 acts solely as an intermediary and is not itself a carrier, hotelier, or travel service provider. All transportation, accommodations, and other services are provided by independent third-party suppliers. - Airfare Rules:
Each airline or travel supplier establishes its own rules and restrictions regarding fares, schedules, baggage allowances, seat assignments, refunds, changes, and cancellations. By purchasing a ticket through FARES24, you agree to comply with the terms, conditions, and policies imposed by the respective airline or supplier. - Price and Availability:
All prices are subject to availability and may change at any time prior to booking confirmation. Prices are not guaranteed until full payment has been received and the ticket has been issued. FARES24 is not responsible for any fare increases or availability changes that occur prior to ticket issuance. - Name Accuracy:
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the names on all travel documents (including flight tickets) exactly match the names on your government-issued identification or passport. Most airlines prohibit any name changes after ticket issuance, and errors may result in the need to purchase a new ticket at your expense. - E-Tickets:
All tickets are issued electronically (“e-tickets”). After full payment is received, an e-ticket confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to review the confirmation and notify FARES24 immediately of any discrepancies. - Ticketing Deadlines:
Failure to make full payment or comply with ticketing deadlines established by FARES24 or the airline may result in automatic cancellation of your booking without prior notice. - Changes and Reissues:
Changes to flight dates, times, routes, or passenger names are subject to airline policies, availability, and applicable change fees and fare differences.
- FARES24 will charge a service fee in addition to any airline-imposed change fees.
- Not all tickets are eligible for changes. Certain discounted or promotional fares may be completely non-changeable and non-refundable.
- Refunds:
The ability to obtain a refund, the timing of the refund, and the amount refunded (if any) are governed by the rules of the airline or travel supplier.
- Many tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-changeable.
- FARES24 service fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- No-Show Policy:
Failure to show up for any flight segment without prior notice to the airline may result in cancellation of the entire reservation (including return flights) without refund. FARES24 is not responsible for any consequences of no-shows. - Third-Party Payments:
If a third party is making a payment on your behalf, you acknowledge that you are still responsible for compliance with these Terms and Conditions and any booking terms. - Special Requests:
Requests for special services (e.g., meal preferences, wheelchair assistance, special seating) are not guaranteed and are subject to airline availability and discretion. - Fraud Prevention:
FARES24 reserves the right to cancel any booking or require additional verification or documentation if fraudulent, unauthorized, or suspicious activity is suspected. Bookings suspected of fraud may be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
By booking a flight through www.fares24.com (the “Website”) or through FARES24 agents, you acknowledge and accept the following policies regarding baggage:
- Baggage Policies Are Set by Airlines:
Each airline independently determines its own baggage policies, including but not limited to the number of bags allowed, weight and size limits, fees for checked or carry-on baggage, and rules for special items (such as sporting equipment, musical instruments, or medical devices). These policies vary widely between airlines, routes, fare classes, and destinations. - Responsibility for Reviewing Baggage Rules:
It is solely your responsibility to review, understand, and comply with the baggage rules and restrictions established by your airline(s) prior to departure.
- Baggage allowances printed on your e-ticket, itinerary, or confirmation may not reflect the most current baggage policy of the airline.
- Airlines reserve the right to amend baggage policies without prior notice.
- Additional Baggage Fees:
Many airlines now charge additional fees for checked baggage, carry-on baggage, or excess baggage. These fees are not included in the base airfare or in any service fees collected by FARES24 unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- You are responsible for paying all applicable baggage fees directly to the airline at the time of check-in or as required by the airline’s terms.
- Baggage fees are typically non-refundable.
- Overweight, Oversized, and Excess Baggage:
If your baggage exceeds the airline’s permitted weight or size limits, additional fees may apply. Some airlines may refuse to accept baggage that exceeds their maximum permitted limits. - Connecting Flights and Baggage Transfers:
If your itinerary includes flights operated by different airlines, or separate tickets, each carrier’s baggage rules and fees may apply independently.
- Baggage may not be automatically transferred between airlines.
- You may be required to collect your baggage and re-check it between connecting flights.
- Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Baggage:
FARES24 is not responsible for any lost, delayed, or damaged baggage.
- Any issues related to baggage loss, delay, or damage must be addressed directly with the operating carrier in accordance with the airline’s terms and applicable international conventions.
- We recommend purchasing travel insurance that provides coverage for baggage loss, damage, or delay.
- Baggage Insurance:
We strongly encourage all Clients to obtain baggage insurance coverage through a third-party insurer to protect against financial loss resulting from baggage incidents during travel.

- The FARES24 FLEX allows for changes but does not make the ticket refundable unless explicitly stated.
- If you wish to cancel your trip, standard airline cancellation policies apply unless you have also purchased a Refundable Booking or CFAR Plan.
- Non-Transferable:
- The FARES24 FLEX benefit applies only to the originally named passenger(s) and is not transferable to others.

- Baggage purchases are non-transferable between passengers or flights unless explicitly allowed by the airline.
- Airline Authority:

- FARES24 does not guarantee that all pre-purchased baggage will be honored if the airline makes changes to your booking or itinerary.

TRAVELING WITH PETS
FARES24 understands that many travelers choose to bring pets on their journeys. However, pet travel is subject to strict regulations imposed by airlines, countries, and transportation authorities. The following terms apply when booking travel involving pets:
- Airline-Specific Pet Policies:
- Each airline has its own pet travel policy, including size and breed restrictions, carrier requirements, seasonal embargoes, and health certifications.
- You are responsible for reviewing and complying with your airline’s pet travel rules prior to booking.
- Some airlines may not allow pets on specific routes or aircraft.
- Booking Requirements:
- Pet reservations are not automatically included in standard online bookings.
- You must notify FARES24 in advance if you plan to travel with a pet so we can verify airline requirements and availability.
- Additional fees may apply for both in-cabin and cargo pet transportation.
- Documentation and Regulations:
- Many destinations require health certificates, vaccination records, and proof of microchipping.
- For international travel, specific import/export requirements and quarantine laws may apply.
- It is solely your responsibility to obtain and carry all required documents for your pet.
- Types of Pets Permitted:
- Most airlines allow dogs and cats only. Other animals (birds, rabbits, reptiles, etc.) are generally restricted or require special handling.
- Certain breeds may be banned for safety or health reasons (e.g., brachycephalic breeds).
- Liability Disclaimer:
- FARES24 acts solely as a booking intermediary and is not responsible for decisions made by airlines, customs, or regulatory authorities regarding pet acceptance, denial, or treatment.
- We are not liable for any injury, delay, loss, illness, or death of a pet during travel, regardless of cause.
- Service and Emotional Support Animals:
- Rules for service animals and emotional support animals vary by airline and destination.
- You must provide advance notice and comply with all documentation and behavior requirements.
- As of recent airline policy changes, emotional support animals are often treated as regular pets.
Great addition — here’s a formal section on Hotel Reservations, designed to clarify your role as an intermediary and limit liability for hotel-related issues:
HOTEL RESERVATIONS
FARES24 may offer hotel booking services as part of its travel offerings. These services are provided in partnership with third-party hotel suppliers, aggregators, and global distribution systems. By booking hotel accommodations through FARES24, you agree to the following terms:
- Third-Party Suppliers:
- Hotel accommodations are provided by independent hotel suppliers. FARES24 acts solely as an intermediary and does not own, operate, or manage any hotels.
- Your booking is subject to the specific terms, conditions, and cancellation policies of the hotel or hotel supplier.
- Reservation Details and Accuracy:
- It is your responsibility to ensure that all reservation details (such as guest names, travel dates, room type, occupancy, and preferences) are accurate at the time of booking.
- FARES24 is not responsible for denied check-in or additional fees resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client.
- Hotel Policies and Charges:
- Hotels may charge additional fees at check-in or check-out, including resort fees, parking, incidentals, taxes, or security deposits.
- These charges are not always included in the booking price and are the Client’s responsibility.
- Early check-in, late check-out, and special requests are subject to hotel availability and policies.
- Cancellations and No-Shows:
- Hotel cancellation policies vary widely and are disclosed at the time of booking.
- Some reservations may be non-refundable or subject to penalty if canceled after a certain deadline.
- No-shows may result in full charges without refund or credit. FARES24 will assist in processing cancellations only in accordance with the hotel’s terms.
- Room Quality and Amenities:
- Room images, descriptions, star ratings, and amenities are provided by hotel suppliers and may not reflect actual conditions or availability.
- FARES24 does not guarantee the accuracy or quality of any hotel content or amenities displayed.
- Relocation or Denial of Stay:
- In rare cases, a hotel may be overbooked or unable to accommodate a reservation. In such instances, the hotel or supplier is responsible for offering alternative arrangements or compensation.
- FARES24 will assist in coordinating a resolution but is not liable for any losses resulting from denial of stay or relocation.
- Client Conduct:
- Guests are expected to comply with hotel rules and local laws. Hotels reserve the right to evict guests without refund in cases of misconduct or violation of policies.
Traveling with Children and Special Assistance
Travel arrangements involving minors and passengers with special needs require careful adherence to airline policies and regulations. FARES24 acts solely as an intermediary in facilitating your booking and is not responsible for the airline’s approval or provision of special services. It is your responsibility as the client to ensure all age requirements are met and proper documentation is in order. All policies regarding unaccompanied minors and special assistance are determined by the operating airline and will take precedence over any arrangements made through FARES24.
Travel by Children (Minors)
FARES24 permits the booking of flights for children and infants under the following conditions and disclaimers:
- Infants (Children Under 2 Years): An infant under two years of age may travel as a lap child (without a paid seat) only if accompanied by an adult guardian on the same reservation. Airlines generally allow one lap infant per adult traveler. If you prefer the infant to have their own seat, or if the child will turn 2 years old before or during the trip, you must purchase a separate seat for the child at the applicable fare. All infants traveling (lap child or with a seat) must be included in the booking and have their correct birth date provided. Airlines may require proof of age ( such as a passport or birth certificate) at check-in for any infant to verify eligibility for infant status. Failure to accurately declare an infant’s age may result in the airline denying boarding or charging additional fares at the airport, for which FARES24 bears no responsibility.
- Child Fares and Age Categories: Child passengers (typically ages 2 up to 11 or 12, depending on the airline) must have a ticket purchased at a fare appropriate to their age category. Any available child or infant fare discounts are determined solely by the airline’s fare rules. When booking through FARES24, you are responsible for entering each child’s exact age and date of birth. Misrepresenting a child’s age to obtain a lower fare is strictly prohibited and can lead to ticket invalidation, additional charges, or travel refusal by the airline. FARES24 is not liable for any loss or disruption arising from incorrect age information provided by the client.
- Minors (Under 18) Accompanied by Adults: All travelers under 18 years of age are considered minors and should be accompanied by an adult (18 or older) on the same itinerary, unless the airline’s unaccompanied minor procedures are used (see “Unaccompanied Minors” below). Some airlines may allow a younger adult (e.g. age 16-17) to accompany a younger child, but this varies by carrier and is subject to the airline’s policy. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that any minor is either accompanied by a qualifying adult or meets the airline’s requirements to travel alone. FARES24’s online booking system may restrict bookings that include minors traveling without an adult; if you wish to book a minor traveling alone, special arrangements are required (see below).
- Identification and Documentation: You are responsible for securing all necessary travel documents for any child passenger. This includes valid passports for international travel, visas (if applicable), and government-issued identification or birth certificates as required to verify the child’s age. If a minor is traveling with only one parent or with no parent, you may need additional supporting documents such as a notarized parental consent letter or custody papers, depending on the destination country and airline rules. It is solely the client’s duty to research and fulfill any such requirements mandated by airlines, immigration authorities, or security regulations. FARES24 assumes no responsibility for passengers being denied boarding or entry due to incomplete documentation for a minor. Any fines, penalties, or costs resulting from insufficient documents or failure to meet governmental requirements will be the sole responsibility of the traveling parent/guardian.
Unaccompanied Minors
Unaccompanied minors are children traveling without a parent or legal guardian on the same flight. Airline policies for unaccompanied minors are very strict, and by booking through FARES24 you agree to the following terms regarding minors traveling alone:
- Age Restrictions and Eligibility: Policies vary by airline, but children below a certain age (commonly under 5 years) are not permitted to travel alone under any circumstances. Most airlines require children 5 through 11 (exact ages may differ per carrier, sometimes up to 14) to use their Unaccompanied Minor (UMNR) service, which involves airline staff supervision and hand-off procedures. For older minors (typically 12 and above), the unaccompanied minor service may be optional or not available, depending on the airline – however, some airlines still mandate the service up to age 14-15 on international flights or at the request of the guardian. It is your responsibility to verify the specific airline’s age limits and rules before booking a ticket for an unaccompanied child. If a minor does not meet the airline’s minimum age or other criteria to fly alone, they will be denied boarding unless accompanied by an adult – in such cases, neither the airline nor FARES24 will be liable for the disruption.
- Booking Requirements: Many airlines do not allow unaccompanied minors to be booked online without prior arrangements. FARES24’s platform may block bookings for single-passenger minors under a certain age. Before booking a flight for an unaccompanied minor, you must contact FARES24 customer service and/or the airline directly to confirm acceptance of the unaccompanied minor and to provide all required information. Airlines typically require the name, contact information, and relationship of the adults who will bring the child to departure and meet the child upon arrival. You must ensure that the itinerary (including any connections or layovers) complies with the airline’s unaccompanied minor restrictions – for example, some carriers do not allow unaccompanied minors on connecting flights, the last flight of the day, or red-eye (overnight) flights. If you book an itinerary for a minor that violates the operating airline’s UMNR policy (e.g., too many connections or disallowed times), the airline may cancel the reservation or refuse boarding. FARES24 will not be responsible for any costs incurred due to rebooking or travel disruptions in such cases.
- Unaccompanied Minor Fees and Services: Be aware that airlines charge additional fees for unaccompanied minor services. These fees (which can vary by airline and are often charged per direction or per connecting city) are not included in the ticket price quoted or collected by FARES24. Payment of any unaccompanied minor program fees must be arranged directly with the airline (usually at check-in) by the child’s parent or guardian. The unaccompanied minor service typically includes supervision of the child during the journey, assistance with transfers, and ensuring that the child is released only to the designated pickup person at the destination. FARES24 is not the provider of these supervision services and has no control over the quality or extent of care provided. It is the responsibility of the booking adult to make sure all necessary fees are paid and that the child meets any check-in deadlines (airlines often require earlier check-in for unaccompanied minors, e.g., 1-2 hours extra). Failure to pay the required UMNR fees or to comply with the airline’s check-in and drop-off procedures may result in the child being unable to travel, in which event FARES24 will not issue any refund or credit beyond the airline’s own fare rules.
- Guardian Responsibilities at Departure and Arrival: The parent/guardian sending off the unaccompanied minor is usually required to remain at the departure airport until the flight has taken off, in case of any last-minute cancellation or issue. Likewise, the designated pickup person must be present at the arrival airport by the scheduled arrival time and have proper identification that matches the details given to the airline. Airlines will not release an unaccompanied child to anyone not pre-authorized, and delays in pickup can result in the airline involving local authorities or charging additional fees. It is solely the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure these arrangements are in place. FARES24 bears no responsibility for supervising unaccompanied minors at the airport, during flight connections, or upon arrival – all such supervision is arranged through the airline’s staff as part of the UMNR service. Any issues or incidents that occur while the child is under the airline’s care must be resolved with the airline directly.
- Airline Liability and Indemnification: When you book an unaccompanied minor’s travel through FARES24, you acknowledge that the airline’s Contract of Carriage and policies regarding minors govern the child’s travel. FARES24’s role is limited to issuing the ticket; we assume no liability for the safety or welfare of the unaccompanied minor beyond transmitting the booking information to the airline. By proceeding with a booking for an unaccompanied minor, you agree to indemnify and hold FARES24 harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of the minor’s travel or the airline’s handling of the unaccompanied minor service. Any denial of boarding or travel due to non-compliance with the airline’s unaccompanied minor requirements (such as age restrictions, missing paperwork, or failure to pay fees) will be the sole responsibility of the customer, and any subsequent changes or refunds will be subject to the airline’s fare rules and policies.
Special Assistance Requests (Disability and Medical Needs)
FARES24 is committed to facilitating travel for all passengers, including those with disabilities or special medical needs. However, all special assistance services are provided by the airlines or airports, not by FARES24. The following terms apply to any request for special assistance made through our platform:
- Types of Special Assistance: “Special assistance” may include, but is not limited to, requests for wheelchair services, electric cart transport, escort assistance for passengers with visual or hearing impairments, seating accommodations for those with mobility or medical needs, the ability to carry and use medical equipment (such as portable oxygen concentrators or CPAP machines) on board, and any required oxygen or medical support during the flight. If you or a traveler in your booking requires any such assistance or accommodation, you must inform FARES24 at the time of booking or as soon as the need is known. Our system may have fields or options to note certain requests (e.g., “Passenger requires wheelchair assistance”). We will record any special assistance needs in your reservation so that the airline is notified. However, adding a request through FARES24’s booking process does not guarantee that the service will be provided – the request is subject to airline approval and availability.
- Advance Notice and Airline Approval: Airlines often require advance notice (commonly 48 hours or more) for certain special assistance requests. For example, arranging for a wheelchair at the airport for boarding/deplaning typically should be done at least 48 hours ahead, and using medical oxygen on board might require even earlier notification and explicit airline medical clearance. It is the traveler’s responsibility to confirm with the airline that the special assistance request has been received and approved prior to travel. We strongly recommend contacting the airline’s special services department at least 48 hours before departure to verify arrangements (for critical services, contact them immediately after booking). The airline may have you fill out additional forms or provide documentation – for instance, a medical clearance form (MEDIF) or a doctor’s letter for travelers who need to use medical devices or require oxygen in-flight. Any such requirements must be fulfilled by you at your own responsibility and expense. If the airline is unable to accommodate a particular special need (for example, if a requested medical device is not approved or a service is unavailable on a specific aircraft), it is your responsibility to work with the airline to find an alternative solution or adjust your travel plans. FARES24 will not provide refunds or compensation if you are unable to travel or use a portion of your ticket due to the airline’s inability to meet a special assistance need, except as provided under the airline’s own rules.
- Wheelchairs and Mobility Devices: If you are traveling with a personal wheelchair or mobility scooter, you must inform the airline in advance about the device dimensions, weight, and battery type ( if electric) to ensure it can be safely loaded and stowed. Airlines have specific policies for battery-powered wheelchairs (e.g. requiring gel batteries or special packing for lithium-ion batteries). You are responsible for coordinating with the airline on these details ahead of time. FARES24 can note that you intend to bring a wheelchair, but we do not handle the technical clearance – that must be done directly with the carrier. At the airport, airline personnel will generally provide assistance with wheelchairs (your own or a courtesy wheelchair) from check-in through boarding and after landing. While airlines strive to handle mobility devices with care, FARES24 is not liable for any damage to or loss of personal wheelchairs or equipment; any claims for such incidents must be made directly with the airline, which may be covered under the Montreal or Warsaw Convention or other applicable laws.
- Onboard Medical Equipment and Oxygen: If a passenger needs to use personal medical equipment onboard (such as an oxygen concentrator, nebulizer, insulin pump, etc.), or requires the airline to supply oxygen, this must be arranged and approved by the airline in advance. Most airlines have approved device lists and medical requirements for use of such equipment during flight. Do not assume that you can bring or use medical equipment on the plane without prior clearance. It is essential to notify the airline as early as possible and comply with all their instructions, which may include carrying a doctor’s prescription, a physician’s statement of fitness to fly, or using specific battery types. FARES24 has no authority to approve medical equipment usage; our role is limited to passing your request to the airline. The airline reserves the right to deny boarding to any passenger who the airline believes is not medically fit to fly or who has not secured required clearances for the use of medical devices. FARES24 will not be responsible for any refusal of carriage in such cases. If your health condition is such that it could affect your ability to travel safely, please consult with both your doctor and the airline before booking to ensure that proper accommodations can be made.
- No Guarantee of Service by FARES24: Any special assistance request made through FARES24 is provided on a courtesy basis, and we cannot guarantee that the airline will honor the request. FARES24 is not the provider of special assistance services; these services are offered by the airline and/or airport contractors according to their own protocols. By booking special assistance through FARES24, you acknowledge that fulfillment of the request is outside of FARES24’s control. We will not be liable if an airline fails to provide requested assistance (for example, if a wheelchair is delayed or missing, or if seating accommodations cannot be made). In the event that a requested service is not available or is improperly provided, the customer’s recourse is with the airline, not FARES24. We also encourage travelers to reconfirm their special requests directly with the airline prior to the flight date for peace of mind.
- Passenger Responsibility: Customers requiring special assistance should plan to arrive at the airport early (we recommend at least 2 hours early for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights, or even more if instructed by the airline for your situation). Early arrival will allow extra time to address any accommodation needs with airline staff. If you have requested assistance, identify yourself again to the airline’s check-in agents and gate agents upon arrival to ensure they are aware of and ready to provide the services (e.g., wheelchair to gate or pre-boarding). Carry any necessary medical documentation with you in your carry-on (do not pack it in checked luggage) so you can present it to the airline or security if needed. Remember that airlines offer assistance within the scope of transporting you safely – they do not provide personal medical attendants or extensive personal care. If a traveler needs continuous or specialized care, it is the responsibility of the traveler to travel with a qualified attendant at their own cost. In booking through FARES24, you agree that you (and the traveler, if different) will comply with all instructions from airline personnel regarding safety and assistance, and that you will not hold FARES24 accountable for any consequences arising from the traveler’s health condition or special needs during the trip.
Important Note: FARES24’s role in all the above scenarios (traveling with children, unaccompanied minors, and special assistance) is as a booking agent facilitating the reservation between you and the airline. All airline rules, regulations, and conditions of carriage regarding minors and special assistance fully apply to your ticket and travel. By using FARES24 to arrange such travel, you acknowledge that FARES24 is not responsible for the airline’s decision to grant or deny any special service or exception. Any failure by the customer to adhere to airline policies or to provide required documentation may result in denied boarding, travel interruptions, or additional charges, for which FARES24 will not be liable. It is solely the client’s obligation to familiarize themselves with and meet all applicable requirements (age limits, forms, identification, advance arrangements, etc.) for traveling with children or requesting special assistance. FARES24 recommends that you review the specific airline’s terms and contact the airline directly if you have any doubts or special needs, prior to completing your booking. By proceeding with a reservation on FARES24 involving a minor or a special assistance request, you agree to these terms and release FARES24 from any claims or liabilities arising from the airline’s handling of these travel arrangements.
